Welcome to the wiki page for JST 150 A History of Jewish Civillization

The purpose of this wiki page is to create a venue for students to suggest reference sources for essay writing.  It would be great if you would suggest good resources that you have used so that future students can profit from your wisdom!

Remember: There are certain things to watch out for.

1. Who is the author, and do we consider that person to be a reliable source?

2. Where is the material published? Is it a reputable press, or a scholarly press? Is the text a book or a journal article?

3. Where can the material be found? You might want to add links that other students can click on to find the reference, such as the text's library call number.

Feel free to comment on the usefulness of different texts, and to contribute to the larger scholarly debate about the advantages and disadvantages of different texts.
